Some of the mining world's top executives are starting to plan their departures.

The South African consortium distanced itself from allegations that it is linked to the Gupta family, the previous owner of Optimum coal and other two assets.

Company has completed a scoping study at its Khemisset project in northern Morocco, which shows it has the potential to be among the world's lowest capital cost potash mines.

The precious metals miner produced 175,561 ounces of ore last year, 15% more than the 152,329 it churned out in 2017.

Last February the company acquired Pine Point Mining and initiated the largest active drill program in the Northwest Territories.
