U.S. stocks eke out gains; close at record highs

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) – U.S. stocks eked out marginal gains on Friday, ending the third straight week with gains. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at record highs for the third consecutive day.
